“Star Wars: El despertar de la fuerza” es la principal contendiente a los Premios MTV al Cine, que se entregan el próximo mes de abril. La saga espacial competirá con “Creed”, “Deadpool”, “Jurassic World”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” y “Straight Outta Compton” por el premio a la película del año.
MTV anunció el martes los nominados a la 25 edición de sus premios al cine. La ceremonia se transmitirá el 10 de abril vía Snapchat, algo sin precedentes para una entrega de premios. Dwayne Johnson y Kevin Hart serán los anfitriones de la velada, que se grabará el 9 de abril en los estudios de Warner Bros en Burbank, California.
“El despertar de la fuerza” cuenta con 11 nominaciones que incluyen menciones para sus astros Daisy Ridley y John Boyega.
Los Premios MTV al Cine agregaron dos nuevas categorías este año: historia de la vida real y documental. Los fans pueden votar por sus favoritos en todas las categorías en Internet.
